Commonly used in the self-service banking sector, currency exchange offices, corporate treasuries and other institutions, the NCMs validate and authenticate banknotes, using various detectors incorporated into each model for the main banknotes in circulation in Angola.
NCMs require a regular customer assistance service, including preventive and corrective maintenance, which PLANAD provides through a specialised technical team throughout the country.
